Its not a bad idea, the Advance auto opti is just the internals. They sell the cap, and rotor also though. We had a billion opti's at the shop, so I found the best looking cap and rotor and slaped it together. So far so good motor has around 9k on it. The GM opti I bought for the car lasted 5 minutes.
