Maybe we should set up a monthly meet for all of us military types like our own local club and then we can meet up with groups from other locales when we have a decent size goup ourselves. Looks like we are going to have several fast NA/BOOSTED/NO2 cars around here. Jamie just put up 397 with his cam only car.

military club somewhat is what i had in mind. I just moved here from oklahoma i set up a club there it wasent easy but we ended up with over 30 some odd cars had the whole deal we even had a fund from where we paid yearly dues very cheap not expensive and it went to the club such as track days gas for cruises etc so there was no out of pocket for anyone all funds went straight back in to the group. even had the local track advertise for us and we had such good turnouts they started letting us run for free because of the turnouts and they were making money. we had a ls1/lt1 shootout twice a year. set up all types of events we did something at least twice a month but you have to know people and ive only been here a month so i dont have the contacts built up here like i did there but thats down the road we have to get a baseline of people first then grow from there. I would love to hear your ideas.

thats sounds like such a good idea, a couple of us have talked about setting up a car club, and this sounds like the best idea ive heard, with your experience in setting one up and our resources of contacts we should be able to get this going. if you need any help feel free to ask, i will do anything i can to assist you.

I was with an Fbody club in Vegas that me and 1 other guy started and built up over a couple years. The problem was we kept getting deployed.

Here is a picture of some of the members

This was a cruise to mount charleston, the only place to go and see snow every year in the winter about 30 minutes from Vegas. You can see it from Vegas (12000 feet elevation).

getting deployed will make it hard but once you get enough people it will all just sorta fall in to place but you have to have someone all the time here that knows the ropes for planning..
