It depends on how long it takes to get everything under the hood straightend out. They did't give me an exact date but at the latest I would guess the 18th but possible by the 11th.

Oh yeah the underside of the hood is also getting cleared so it should look sharp. This whole accident thing might get my lazy *** motivated to clean up under the hood since there so many new parts under there, so maybe I can actually pop it open and show it off some at the meets.

im scared to pop mine no telling whats under there i hvent cleaned it since i put it the motor in at 60k and it has 111k now thats a lot of road grime and leaves cuz my car sleeps outside and i have trees out the ***

 

my **** is clean under the hood all the time, JonB can vouch for me on that one, we did my drill mod and he said that we prolly wouldnt even get dirty doin it, and we really didnt

 

I wish mine was as clean as yours. That thing look like its brand new.

Almost forgot to give you guys the update.

Went by yesterday and they just had to finish up some of the wiring under the hood and do and aligment then the car was set to go for paint. They told me I will have it back next week. I'm pretty sure I will have it back since they actually told me I will have it back and I did't have to ask. So it should be at the cruise the 20th. I have to get on the ball and order up a new grill and clear corners since they are not getting replaced.

There only like $40-$50 on ebay so it no big deal, I'm to use to seeing my car with a grill it just wont look right without one.

 

its a total diffrence of opinion but i like the grille-less look of the camaros it makes them look like angry catfish instead of just catfish.

Hay, its an Fbody, its an LS1, and its a 6SPEED. And its damn near brand new. It only has 24k miles on it. I see no traderism. I would have gotten another T/A if i could, but there was just none that came close to this Z for the money.
