With an auto from experience with 4.10s is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy to much gear you go into overdrive at 115 its rough and at 70 mph you are like at 3500 rpm now 3.73s are the only way for an auto just under 3000rpm at 70

I also do believe its not illegal to do work on a car with out cats you as a shop just cant remove them. there is a hugh fine for removing them if caught. you can remove them they cant so take them out and have them deal with the aftermath. they cant get in trouble for that. i was told all of this by a guy doing exaust on my old blazer he told me the fine for removing cats was like 60k he got hit with it once or twice. the only way he would do that kind of work was after shop hours and for cash only. something about a shop doing it makes it wrong. they can get hit with a large fine because they are a shop but you can do it fine free. we can thank stupid *** *** cali for that **** i hope you fall off into the ocean you smug stupid *** *** hippie tree huggers ralph nader and al gore this is your punk out there is a good reason neither one of you became president because nobody want as twatwaffle McDoucheberry as commander and chief.

idk if i'd do 3.73 in an auto... i'd stick with the stock 3.23 for best overall.

3.23's were only stock on the ss, ws6 and firehawk. they were an option on everything else. 2.73 gears were stock. 3.73 is a excellent choice for gears if the car is mostly street driven.

he did his headers, he found someone down the street from him to help him, i just helped him put the tranny in cause it is a little hard to do by yourself on the ground, his hands look like hamburger from the header install, LT1's suck to do headers

cause andy when it gets to the point of throwing 3 motors in it, 2 trannys, rack n pinion, ps pump, water pump, and soon to be alt and AC....it gets a little more expensive then just modding the car....i dont know many people who have put about 20,000 dollars into their car in just one year......just to fix it....let alone do any modding

if i didnt like though...the car would have been gone along time ago
