I think their kits are unfairly criticized. May not be as optimal for a track car as traditional setups, but for a car that sees street time it's a great setup. No heat issues, extra weight on the rear for traction.
I wanted their twin turbo kit but couldn't afford it, so I went with the blower.

A4
Procharger @ 7psi
Full exhaust
Transmission cooler
approx. 500rwhp
Otherwise stock
Pick my next mod. (consider the benefits AND cost, as well as potential shortening of engine or transmission life)
-[$2,000] Upgrade 2.73 rear to built 3.42 & retune
-[$1100] Upgrade stock TC to Yank ss3200 or equivalent & retune
-[$800] Smaller pulley for 9psi, meth kit, pull timing, retune
-[$2000] Heads with 70cc+ chambers for lower compression and 9psi pulley
-[$2000] Upgrade to built transmission (still stock tc and gears for now)
-[1400] 6 piston calipers front wilwood brake kit
-[$2000] Suspension: Hyperco springs, koni fsd shocks, hotchkis or T1sways
-[$2000] New wheels tires (what could I get for current with 80% tread?)
-Other ???
$2000ish is absolute non-negotiable limit, and even that's going to be hard to get permission for from the S/O.
Suggestions ???

ill giva ya the rundown of what i think of each of your mod selections
upgrade the 2.73 to 3.42, id go lower then 3.42 at least 3.73
Upgrade stall, This is the first thing id do to your car
smaller pully meth kit retune, pointless until you stall it imo
Heads, once again you need a stall!
Built tranny, not without a stall!
Upgrade brakes, From what i gather most of your use is street use, and not road racing the stock C5 brakes IMO are more then adequate
Suspension Once again i think stock is great!
New wheels tires matter of opinion, i like my stock wheels

First thing i would do is get what you already have maximized, you should be making decent power, but that stall and gears are holding you back. If you shop around and do the labor yourself i think you could do gears and stall for 2k, then get Doc to tune it for you and youll be smiling all the way down the road!
In case none of you have noticed im extremely bored at work....

my tranny is built and it doesnt have a stall.....ill say ive probably gained alot back from the drivetrain loss, and ive also got a little more security when i bang on this car...
the stall probably is what you want to go with...i seriously think if you get hold of mark, harrison, and lance you can get the tuning and install for gears AND stall for just under 2000$
i got my 3.73s done by mark parts and install less then 500$..huge improvement...a stalls what?...700$....i dont think lance would charge you that much to install it...and doc would give you a fair price for a retune.....overall with both those you'd be looking at a .5-.8 second gain....

prices go way up for parts when you start talking tranny parts and gears on vettes compared to fbods jacob, remember our transmission is in the back of the car

the biggest cost for him is starting with 2.73 gears he cannot simply swap ring and pinions, he has to swap the entire rear gear carrier, big money there.
