coolest cop ever! yep today i was heading to my friends house and felt like hearing my car cutout open....
well i ripped threw 1st and short shifted 2nd as to not exceed the speed limit. well one of oviedos finest quickly got on my tail and pulled me over. i was very nice and cooperative and she was very nice as well. she ran my tag and ask who wrote me a ticket for going 3 over a year ago. i told her i didnt know and she was like well thats just stupid. and when she started to tell me about just how loud my exhaust was she couldnt put it into words. but told me to fix it or next time she will write me a ticket. i was totally cool with that and told her i would take care of it immediately.
so just goes to show you if your nice to them they might be nice to you

I've been pulled over multiple times but they never say anything about my open cut out. I drive by cops everyday with it wide open. I think I've only had it closed for 2 weeks out of the last year.

i was pulled over for loud exaust at an idle at a stop light.. she pulled me over because "its illegal to have any exaust that isnt stock" and she was going to pull over a sppeder but got me instead (she actually told me that).. she was being a super bitch, but i ended up leaving with a written warning luckily (after i talked to her ranking officer).. atleast my cop was hot

I have a very good story of a cool cop.I am driving down Hiawassee, it's about 8 pm. and i see tHSES Camaro headlights weaving in and out of traffic behind me. almost as if to catch up to me.I only had minor bolt ons and this Superchips custom tune. i get to the light and he pulls up right behind me. i think to myself this guy wants to play.so as the light turns i roll alittle quick out of the hole and i see that he's right behind me,so i go WOT and start pulling away from him. he's still back there trying to catch up. i get about half a mile away from the light and what happens.....it's a FHP Z28. he puts his lights on and pulls me over.he comes to my door and asks do i know why he pulled me over.i said yes and he asks for the usual and goes back to his car to run my tag.while he's back there i swear i'm going to jail.he comes back and hands me my info and says i see you have an SLP tag.what do you have done? i tell him a lid,k&n,Slp Maf,Slp loudmouth, and a custom tune from Superchips.he then begins to tell me that the only tune available for my car is a Hypertech. i tell him there are quite a few handheld tuners out there. he begins to argue with me about there only being Hypertech. i started laughing and said ok,ok and he said keep the racing at the track.then he let me go with nothing at all.that's my story of a cool cop. sorry for being so long.
**** Pito, thats awesome.. When i drove my old camaro on 535 i used to see this fhp camaro and i swear he would always hit it when i drove by him.. to show off the mightly ls1 to my lt1 (at the time)

I've never had problems with FHP, I hide my "Arrest Me" Red Z28 in the slow lane lol
I do always have problems with HCSO Deputies, I always want to use a ton of sarcasm. For example: the last time I got ticketed, I forgot to check my blind spot (I'd been working all night) and had just gotten my Z28 so I didn't have the tag yet, I had just cleaned the Z out, so all my papers (except my insurance card) were at home. This cop asked me if this was the Camaro Z28 on the insurance.......I almost said, "No, officer, I stole one just like it." He turned out to be pretty nice (he gave me two tickets instead of four)

I don't know if I would classify them as cool cops, well I have had some nice ones, but all of them have been professional. I don't have any horror stories like every other thread in the FL section seems to be.

I'm usually pretty good about driving nice, I have a permanently open cut-out and !cats, so if get on it too much I'll see every cop in a 100yard radius on my ***. I have to laugh whenever the lights go green and soccer mom in the lane next to me starts pulling away; meanwhile, I sound like I'm doing the 1/4 mile with open headers.
