i just got off the phone with Brad up at SGMP (Cecil).
i was talking to him about renting the track, and this is what he
said....$2500 for 8-10 hours, both lanes will be prepped. they will
open the gates when we want them too. there will be rescue unit,
starter, and the time slip people there.
he also wanted to make sure that all the cars will be STREET LEGAL.
i told him mostly f-bodies, GTO's and maybe a few vettes or trucks.
i also told him that none of us are planning on being stupid. we will
be required to have/show safety equiptment.
50 vehichles comes to $50 each, thats not bad for an all day private
rental. Brad told me to let him know when we want to do this. i said
i would give him a call back in a week or so. so let me know what
everyone thinks?

 

I say hell yes- When are ya thinking? Don't schedule it near the Ocala Show, and we're there. Oh, and don't promise that none of us are gonna be stupid.

LSX shootout on Oct.
F-Body motorsports in Oct.

but i am going to wait and see what some of the other member think.

i need to try out that protree and get some shakedown runs before going to memphis for the lsx shootout.

i would like to shoot for a friday, August 24th. we can have the track from
early that morning until 6pm. they start their tnt at 7pm.
we could set up a place to meet and then head out.

im going to talk to Brad about bringing a grill, because some of the rules
have changed. especially about coolers, all we need in ours is water, gatorade,
and some sodas.
