Default RevXtreme Tampa Dyno day, Sept 1

We will have our tuner on hand to do Dyno tunes for the one day only price of $199 for bolt-on cars & heads/cam cars! FI will be too time consuming to do with that many cars but bring em out to show you have the RWHP just the same. $45 for 3 pulls. Call JP to confirm, 813-628-0080 and just make it a cruise-in to hang & visit if nothing else. We should have a grill set up & soda....and get a tour of the shop.

That seems like a great deal. Almost to great! Will he devote the time required to get it right? I need a tune bad, and will drive, but not for a partial tune or a simple tune. Please let me know if this is for a full out tune - as in Jermey Formato style. LOL. two too many beers too early today.

Their tuner Chris does incredible work... He tuned my car, and it runs HARD yet manages traffic like it was still stock.

The money is for the tune, and I'm sure that a tune done right is obviously what you'll be getting!

Speaking of, you just got me in the mood for some beers.

Chris will be running the dyno, and you will get 3 pulls w/cool down in between (we can turn the climate control on between runs to cool the cars quicker). He usually needs 1 run for a base, and can make his changes during the 1st cool-down, and the second run shows results & any need for any fine adjustments, and the final run to verify all is well. He will NOT push the ragged edge for max power and put the motor at risk. Of all the tuners we have had snice the company started 4 1/2 years ago, Chris has shown the most talent....especially with difficult tunes w/FI cars & he has a background of racing & being a performance mechanic for the past 10 years. We got him from Ford shop extrordinaire Ramsey Performance, and he has been in the NHRA Div 2 finals for the past 5 years or so & is currently #1 in points at Sunshine Dragstrip.

The care that goes into his tunes is why we can't offer this to FI cars...some difficult ones take as much as a full day until he feels it is right.

cool, im having an issue with my intake i just installed. Id like to be able to do two baselines (allowing me to switch the tube out in between would take me 15 minutes MAX) Id pay an xtra say 25 bucks or so if youd like, but this is important to me to figure out whether I need the 4 inch tube or not).

Everyone with their dyno days on 9/1 (there's another across the bay). Unfortunately I won't be able to go to either. Hope you have a great turn out.

Should not be a problem....we can assist if needed.

does no fi mean no nitrous tunes? I was thinking about installing a system before I get a tune. Will I need to pay for two tuning sessions: 1 for n/a tune, and 1 for nos tune? Thanks

Nitrous is fine....just need to know if it is a wet or a dry kit. Re-tunes are always 1/2 price of the original tune (unless it is a special like this). If you drive a few days & want something tweaked there is no charge.

chris tuned my car and took about 4 hours to do it...along with the street tuning for had 5 pulls on the dyno in freaking 102 degree weather...i was kinda disappointed with my numbers but the car pulls strong i'll be taking it to the track and see where it stands in the trap.

I'll be in town but unfortunately at another dyno day across the bay...dammit you guys had to go and put it on the same day!

If there are any tweaks you want (shift points, line pressure, code deletes) they are at no cost if you just had a tune. If you say put a new cam in, throttle-body, heads, etc. that would be a 1/2 price for a complete new dyno tune.

I know on the other dyno days...a couple of others going on the same day! We will do another after we see how this works out.

Hey I live pretty far south but this looks to be a good deal and I feel a tune would benefit my exhaust/lid LS1 Trans Am. However, my brother's car desperately needs a tune as well, unfortunately hes on the other side. He owns a 2002 Mustang GT with just bolt-ons and I was wondering would it be possible for his car to receive the $199 tune as well? Thanks in advance for your reply.
