Default 315's are on!

MT 315/35R/17 Street Drag radials are on, at last. Wheels arrived today, so they're on the back of the car now ... what a mAAAAAAAAjor difference from the 275/40R/17 Nitto 555 DR's. Hopefully they'll stick good enough to get me a good timeslip on down in the 11's tomorrow ... if the weather holds out.

Anybody going to the track tomorrow night @ OSW?

LOL!!! You guys are f**kin' crazy. That ****'s funny Brian ~~~~ takin' some pics and will get them up sometime today. The fitment was really good, so, I was pleased to get them on the car and know the wheels were back-spaced ... 36" offset worked out perfectly.

Rain, rain, rain ... rain, rain, rain. Maybe I should go plant a garden out back ... you know it's sure toi dry up then so my friggin' crops would die. All I'd have to do is go wash and wax the car and it'd be sure to rain and get my **** dirty yep ... rain, rain, rain ... rain, rain, rain. Go to the damned track and it's sure to rain.

Oh well, I need to stay home and get the rest of the nitrous wired in ... sure hope the wether holds out, but, as Steve says, it ain't lookin' good. Lemme go work on gettin' some pics up.

I went through 2 pair's of the MT 275's ... never made it to the track with them, but, they were a major, MAJOR diference over the Nitto 275's ... ran about 3/4" wider as well. Here's what I'll be taking to the track next time it's dry: If I can't hook with these, I'll sell the frickin' car!!!!

Not very good pics, but, I'll get some better ones up this week.

Where did you get the wheels Jack, are they painted or powder coat??
The tires work a little better then the 275/17 MT radials but on Wed/Fri at OSW you need to run lanes 1+2 and make sure your behind 3 or 4 slick tire cars in your lane. If you run behind street tire cars you`ll still spin. With the 315/17 MTs I can dead hook on the highway from 10mph , with the 275/17 MTs I had to be at 20mph to dead hook in my Silver Formula

They're 315's. The wheels are black chrome just like chrome wheels ...not painted or powder coated. I bought 4 17x91/2's about 3 years ago and called up AFS and ordered a couple 17x11" ones to match.

Next time it's dry out, I'll try 'em out and report back on my shitty driving abilities and how bad I can make them spin ... LOL! I stalled the Nitto's only to 1500 rpm's and tried to ease into the throttle, but, still spun bad. Just gotta' learn to launch.

Dave, thanks for the tons of help you've provided in the past. You've always helped me when I've asked for advice. I'll be out to watch you heat up the track in the purple car. Hope you get some good runs in and you will.

They're growing on me and I'm liking them a lot ... just need a break in the weather to get some track time on 'em. I'll take some better pictures when it dries up so I can pull the car out and get some better lighting. Thanks for all the compliments. The wet kit is just about wired in and ready to go in for tuning ... just finishing up a few things and waiting on my timing tuner and switch panel so I can finish it up. Maybe it'll excersie the tires when I spray.
