Unless your asking fellow Florida members for the answer, I think you might have more luck here: www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=531756

I did 3 inch true duals with spin tach mufflers. It sounds great, but ground clearance is a little lower than I like. I think if I could do it over again, I would have gone with 2.5 inch.

unless your motor is pushing a real shitload of power, like in excess of 550hp, you might as well stick with a 2.5 setup, more ground clearance and less rasp with more of a toned note to it

its only pushing around 455 and 516 with a 125 shot. i believe i read an hpipe is for sound and x is for power? or just the opposite. if i won't lose any power i would consider going with 2.5...

From what I've heard the H will make a little more down low and sacrifice a little up top as opposed to a X. I've had both on my car, and honestly the sound isn't much different, and I saw no change in my trap speeds. If youre willing to massage the driver's side floorpan (Nothing that affects the interior of the vehicle) a little you can gain massive ground clearance.

i laugh anytime someone wants to change exhaust to pickup power. dont put dual 2.5" unless its ALL mandrel bent pieces. otherwise you will be worse than stock.
i have a stock SLP dual/dual. car ran 10s all day with the cutout closed. didnt make one bit of difference. true duals sound nice compared to Y pipes with a cutout, but it still sounds like a loud LS1. not a huge change IMO.
