Wow, that's an amazing gain, and through cats, as well. I'm gonna need to research the 1 7/8" headers vs the 1 3/4". I'm sure it's been a big debate for some time and it probably depends on the setup, but with a mild h/c setup like mine, I would imagine swapping to 1 7/8" definitely wouldn't hurt, and could possibly gain enough to make it worth (or it might gain nothing...).

Well, the numbers in my sig are actual uncorrected numbers. SAE corrected numbers were, of course, a little lower, but, 'hey' it pulled the numbers and I'll leave it at that.
The true SAE Corrected gains stand at +25 RWHP / +17 RWTQ. On one run, the SAE corrected RWHP was actually +28 RWHP.

I know back many years ago people used to say that you had to have a certain amount of back-pressure to make your best power. A lot of folks nowadays write it off as a falicy or give scientific reasons as to why more air-in-air-out the better. My personal opinion is that the latter is true to a great degree, but, I do believe just a slight amount of back-pressure is a good thing good. Whatever the case, I'm an old-school guy whose brain is permanenetly warped and unchangeable, so, this just my thought on the matter ... just not a scientific kinda' guy. Makes sense to me, brother.

While I was under the car, I checked every place possible that could be an issue. There wasn't a rub mark anywhere. The headers and catted Y don't bang, thump, vibrate, or rub anywhere at all. Class 'A' perfect installation Mike, thanks. Thanks to American Racing, as well. They made these things to fit like a glove.

Should be easily in the 11's now even with my sorry a$$ drag racing skills (lack thereof). With practice and good weather, this thing feels like it's good for the lower of an 11-second run if I had MT DR's on it ... coming next month.
I'll post up this week when I get back from the track.

You have a PM! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention in the PM, I have a Magnaflow catback ... very happy with it. I used to have the Borla adjustable and it was nice, but, I didn't like the fact that when you use the plates, in the winter, it only smogs out of one side. And the more open of a plate I used, it was louder. Along with the loudness (unfortunately) came more rasp.
The Magnaflow sounds real good with the ARH's and guess who recommended the Magnaflow catback? Initials are M.N. LOL!

Yeah, LS1Freak had a set of 1 3/4" AR's installed. I saw his and just had to have a set installed. Will be going to the track tonight at Bithlo, so, we'll see how the car performs at the track. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed ... on Nitto's so I'll be launching easy to get out of the hole. But, in January, I'll be back on MT Street DR's.

Well, just got back from the track :
1st run ... not a hard launch at all. Cut a 1.80 60' on the Nitto's. My windshield fogged over to the point I couldn't see, so ,I had to let out of it a little just before hitting the traps. Managed to still pull off a 12.1 flat, which is 1/10th better tonight with Nitto 275 DR's than I got last time out with the 315 MT Street DR's out back. And I gained 2+ mph. As stated, this was with me letting off before I hit the traps, so, it's got more in it.
11's should be no problem Friday night. The car is definitely a lot stronger now. January, I'm coming back out with MT Street DR's on the rears ... should be able to cut a 1.6x 60' ft consistently ... may even surprise myself with a few 1.5x 60' times.
2nd run ... left lane got a little oil on the track and caused me to spin all the way through 1st and 2nd. Once it finally bit, it pulled down hard and I still got the same mph as the 1st run.
Thanks again, Mike!
