Default OSW Friday w/ new Pacesetters

Went to track Friday with new pacesetters. Thanks to Justin (SidewayzOZ) and Vivek for install help. Before 13.6 @ 103, after 13.099 @ 106.8 with 2.023 60' (added DRs too).

Friday night was a bit of a learning experience as it was the first time I used the water box (only second time to the track) and didnt realize to hold the brake while burning out I had previously been loading up on the brake then releasing and mashing gas. First run was 13.2, then two F ups (including one in which I smoked them half way down the track due to bad burnout), then the 13.099. Kinda wanted to go for 12's but I figured to leave on a good note.

Have a ls6 waiting to go on. Looking forward to getting better and hitting 12's.

Cheers all

Congrats. I'd say the half second improvement is more experience than longtubes, although I'm sure they did cut off a cood 2 to 3 tenths.

You have an LS6 motor, or intake manifold?

Good to see you improving. Just heat the Nitto's up for about 8-9 seconds in 1st and take it up not quite to the rev limiter. That's what works best on mine, anyways. Good luck on 12's ... good air and you're already there.

Yes auto.

Someone at the track told me to heat the Nittos up for 8 seconds as well. I definitely did not do that as I was not doing good burnouts.
