If I'm not mistaken, Gainesville allows overnight rv inside (as plenty of gatornats people do it). I'd call the track to confirm after the weekend's Gatornationals deal is done.
On golf cart and atv stuff, yes but you need to have a car # on them and they need to be used for official business (not too strict but if you are out tooling around and creating headaches they will park it).

I drive a little blue scooter that goes like 10 MPH and I fear for my safety sometimes because all it takes is a little bump and I'll go flying off.

Listen to Derek about the whole golf cart thing. At several lucas oil points and DRR series races I have been almost run over by dipshit 20 year old drivers running 30 through the pits, popping wheelies and such. I saw a guy on a scooter at the 07 Gainesville Lucas race get hit an fly off his scooter because someone came around the corner into the staging lanes to quickly and couldnt stop. This doesnt even include the risk of hitting someones 50K ride...

I'm planning on going with the wife. Not sure if I'm spending the night in Gainsville or what yet. I'm down for a cruise there but, when/where is the meeting point to start out??
