I always park out of the way (so I thought) perpendicular to some of the other cars and the girl just backed straight up instead of cutting the wheels. I now have a crease above the wheel well about 2' long and it's also pushed in at the bottom of the wheel well right behind the rocker panel. All this with a damn toyota solara......barely knocked the paint off of it.

The vehicle doing the backing up rarely gets damaged, I learned this first hand.
Sucks, at least its all on tape, she'll feel it in her insurance.

My worry has always been that one of the forklift drivers would get my car or one of these over the road truck drivers that only know how to drive forward would back into it not another employee that didn't have enough sense to turn the wheels of their vehicle to avoid my car....

man i was pumping gas one time and some biatch (was pretty damn hott to be honest) rammed right into the back fo my car in her 300C. Cracked my rear bumper and damaged the drivers tail light. Her car just had a little piece of paint missing. She paid for it, wrote a check on the spot, but she got pissed when I asked her what she was doing later that night lol.

And yes at least your hood is intact. No damage to the wheel either?

Nope wheel is good although it will probably need to be realigned if not it's a damn good excuse to get it done.

why would you need an alignment if the damage is only on the 1/4 panel?

i just personally never understood why guys spend money to align their cars if there hasnt been impacts to the suspension or wheel/tire. dropping 80 dollars isnt my idea of a good time. all they are doing is measuring sweep on teh front wheels. most dont do anything to the rear since there is virtually no adjustments in a solid axle.
