maybe 9.31 in the 1/8....def not the 1/4. sorry bro...not with 80% stock parts. if it is 80% stock parts, you must be referring to the interior, certainly not the drive train.

Yup 1/4 mile. Impressive right

Call, write, email whoever you want. If you call or email chances are I'll be the one answering it

Also, make sure you remember what the term "stock" means, it might not be "stock" to this vehicle but it's still a "stock" part

So then it's got a solid roller LSX with a big shot on it and the drivetrain out of an Impala?

^^^^Everybody knows that four cylinders can make alot of power and thats really not a debate here. What you said is that you can make more power with a stock ecotec easier and cheaper than an LS1. That my friend is not true. With all of the mods that you have, I'm guessing around 3-4 grand your probably still making around the same power at the wheels as a bone stock LS1. Cobalts SS's and Saturn Redlines are nice cars, but still they take ALOT of work to keep up with a Bolt-on or Cam only Camaro or T/A with around 2,000 dollars in performance mods

Woah Woah hold on a second. I would NEVER say that, I'd have to an idiot.

The comparison was for crazy power levels. My statement was that an ECOtec can make 1400 easier and cheaper than an LSX.

My whole little "rant" here was defending the "little cobalt motor" statement because its just a really ignorant statement.

Whoa, I have not been on tech for a couple days and look what happens. My comment was meaning when you go to Super Chevy Show or the Pepsi one GM brings their biggest and badest motors ever. None of them are ECOtechs by the way. Sure they have the car there but the motors on the stands are all 572 and 572R. You know what im saying.

Super Chevy show is not a show for the GM small car market.

Showing off a 1400hp ECOtec motor would be a waste there.

BTW 572, sickest crate motor eva!

We all understand that but AlfaJaguar doesn't; All you did, Mystic, was say how they had a little cobalt motor and that it was cute, yes it does look cute when WE (LS1 tech, NOT ECOTECH.com) see a little 4cyl motor compared to a LSX or big block 8 cyl motor............. No one is slamming the Ecotech it just looks so small and plain when you put a V8 next to it, thats all we here are talking about; Mystic I agree with you 100% on your above post.
