I hope that spider-web crack in the windshield wasn't the result of somebody not wearing their seatbelt

That is the exact mark left when someone does not wear their seatbelt. Your insurance company is likely to cause ripples when they get the data from the black box and you did not have a seatbelt on.

I want the motor!!!!

i was wearing my seatbelt, which is why i think that was caused by one of my school books flying up and hitting it there... that coupled with no mark on my head and mine not being hurt makes me think it was one of my books... i said apparently in the above post b/c that is what the tow guy said, and i was being sarcastic by mocking him, sorry about any confusion...

If that was in fact your head, you would have had to come out of your seat and you would have been crushed up into the windshield and headliner...I would assume that would kill someone instantly, if not fairly quickly. I would also assume the insurance so will agree you were wearing your belt

Thanks goodness you're ok! Sorry about the sick truck!

i really do appreciate the offer, but USAA got me a decent rental... I actually do hope they total it and offer me a cheap buyback, so the soul of the SS will live on...
