LSX Scene, South FL?
I am considering moving to south florida and was wondering what the LSX scene is like down here (I'm visiting right now)? Are there many LSX based cars, enthusiasts etc.? What about local clubs, get-together's, etc.? Also, what are the emission regulations, if any? I'd appreciate any input!

Define Sout Fl. Do you mean Miami or like West Palm. Dont know about miami but there are quite a few Camaros and WS6 running around here in West Palm. Oh and there is no emissions.

well i am in Broward county, which is right in the middle between west palm and miami. We go to West Palm a lot, i think there are more lsx cars there. But also Miami has some of the nicest ones too, not to mention ft lauderdale. No matter where you go down in south fl you will find a gathering of lsx cars. Just out of my close friends we have a 98 formula, 01 firehawk, 08 ZO6, 03 cobra, o6 cobra. where did you plan on moving?

Kendall here as well.... For every LSX F-Body there are 4 Mustangs minimum. But I like it that way
The further north you go, the more abundant they are. Once you hit Central FL they're EVERYWHERE IMO!
What kind of business are you planning on opening?

There are still a few f-Bodys still around down here, and the more trans ams we get the better. Theres days i feel like i see more camaros and 'birds driving around, but they are around. www.SpeedStyleandPerformance.com we meet up every other thursday, vast group of cars, not specific on import or domestic. Im in the kendall area as well, and even though it may seem that alot of people have import/importish crap down here V8s still run everything. Our cars are rare and in a way it sucks, but in a way its pretty awesome. Its pretty cool when i see a fellow Camaro-T/A driving the opposite way, I would flash my lights but the damn flip ups are garbage.

Miaminick, I currently do marketing for a company here in Oklahoma and we are looking to expand, that would be my bread and butter. I started my own company aswell and have a very cool technology for motorsports, more info later!
2000Hawk, that is what I was looking to hear! If its during the day I usually flash my fogs.

Yeah i saw your post on SSP, that is one sharp looking car. Especially when you take into consideration the year and mileage. In the near future hopefully if i decide that i don't want a truck, or to get a G8 even though i think its awesome. I was also considering on getting a 2002 CETA, maybe even convertible but keeping it completely factory.
Either way South Fl has a pretty strong LSx community, it might not be there with the likes of Texas. Which i have never seen in person, but have read that its incredible. Like everywhere else you will run into the occasional FBody owner thats a total ***, but for every one of them theres about 5 down to earth FBody owners that you can talk **** with. If you can handle the pretty crazy traffic, and the 80% of people that don't speak english then come on down.
