OSW Friday 4/25/08 - who's going?
After having an issue with the motor running hot last week (should be OK now ... took out the thermostat), I couldn't make it out last Friday.
The alternator and battery both **** the bed. That's all replaced now ... should be able to make it out to race and cut some 1.5 60's ... hoping for an 11.5 run ... better is always good.
Who's heading out for the track this Friday and who's spectating vs. watching?

GRN ENVY, I'll be at the track before 7:00 p.m. to make my first run ... hope you get there early, as well.
Yeah, I've been wanting to race you for awhile since we talked here some time ago ... was hoping we'd be able to meet up.
The times in my sig were 2 weeks ago with the new PT4000 Yank (first run ever with it) launching semi-hard with 17 psi in the rears. I thought I had put air in the tires last time at the track, so, it sucked when I checked the pressure and it said 17 psi. Drag radials seem to like a little air pressures ... versus slicks ... they cup in the middle. The next 2 runs, I blew the tires off thorugh 1st and 2nd and still ran flat 12's. The track wasn't working for a lot of folks that night.
Friday, I expect to be running 11.5-11.6 with a low 1.5x short time. I'm planning to start out with 22 psi and work my way down to see what the car likes. Once I get that down, I can begin making suspension adjustments. I have to get the car to transfer weight better.

Its a good cam. I don't DD my car anymore so I could have went a little bigger, but the 233/239 is cutting it close enough with the 59cc heads.
You will like it.
