I think the teenager thing is easily fixed by holding the parents accountable. Then maybe the parents will be more aware of how their hellion is acting on the streets when they get a sumons to appear in court. I can tell you right now, my daughter will not be driving if she is caught acting like an *** or getting a ticket. First ticket grounded for an undisclosed period, the second loses her priveliges as long as she resides in my home. Plain and simple. If caught drinking, she is totally done, first time around. Not gonna play that game.

As for illegals driving without lisences. Most are probably in the USA illegally, so we gather them all up and send them back to their country of origin. Make the penalties so stiff that if a company is caught using illegal labor they lose their lisence to do business. Stop giving illegals free healthcare and free educations. Make it NOT so desirable to live here and they will self deport and then they can drive illegally in their own country and not kill anymore Americans.

Anyone else driving without a lisence or on a suspended should lose their car immediately. No need to go to court over that one, if you dont have a lisence or its suspended they take your car on the spot. That will at least make it harder for them to do it again. If they owe money to the bank, then a letter is shot off to the bank advising of the suspended lisence, and to the insurance company too(if they even have any), so they cant get another car.

Might be more than that. I bet only about 15% of the residents here are natives. That is why I moved out of the Orlando area and to Deland. Way too crowded.

And they say the **** settles to the bottom, and Florida is about as bottom as it gets in the US. Its warm most of the year, easy to find work, used to be cheap to live. Why not move here? I have noticed an bunch of people moving back recently since the cost of living has gone up so much, and that is a good thing.

Lived in Florida all my life. Drivers have gotten worse every year. I live in Gainesville, and one of the reasons I stayed after college is b/c I hated the south Florida traffic. Before anyone says it, yes I know the college kids are PITA as well, but the interstate is MUCH better up here than down south.

Driving anywhere in South Fl. sucks, im stick with that **** everyday. Traffic is horrible, and the roads completely suck. It seems that everyday they are ******* up a good street to add some more **** underground. I was at the DMV a while back getting a booklet, and i was watching some spanish lady taking the computer test. Well shes staring at the sign of the school crossing (parents holding child by the hand), and the look on her face was as if she saw a ******* ghost. She hesitated i don't know how many times untill she finally chose an answer. And she only chose an answer, because i think she asked the person next to her what it was. Best part is now you can go to a DMV and ask to take the tests in either english, spanish, and get this ******* creole. What the **** if you want to drive in this ******* state, and in this country you should be able to speak ENGLISH!!! Im done with my ranting, thank you for listening. Next...

What a novel idea. Speak English in an English speaking nation. There is a larger percentage of people that speak English in Germany than in the US. I think I read that 99% of all German citizens learn English in Grade school. Sad but true.

On another note, back in the early 90s I was sitting at the DMV waiting on someone to meet me there with a title. They used to have a driving course behind the complex. I watched this one kid pass everything, stopped when he was supposed to, didnt run over any cones, parallel parked etc, but failed because his horn in his old car(probably all he could afford)Didnt work. The next kid ran over 30 cones, couldnt parallel park, ran all the stop signs, but his horn worked, so he passed. I asked the tester how that worked and she told me it was none of my business.

^ Proof of how bad things are getting. This has nothing to do with driving, but i went to my friends gfs graduation on sunday. She got a Bachelors in Science from Barry University, but one thing i noticed was that alot of the class that graduated were haitian. Now im not saying that they don't deserve the same education, but i remember her telling me how most of the ones that were getting the same B.S. as her couldn't speak english. So the entire time i was wondering how most of these people even graduated when they probably couldn't udnerstand most of the **** they were reading.

Back to the driving, i don't know how it is anywhere else in Florida but South Fl. SUCKS!

You can also get a drivers liscense if you are 100% totally illiterate. Now that's a scary thought.
