Rant....fl drivers... so i was on my way to work today and i got on the highway behind a cavalier and a F150...the f150 was in front of the cavalier, slamming on brakes, flicking him off, waving at him and the guy was just going crazy...several times he blocked both lanes and almost ran the other guy off the road...as i passed him he started yelling at me and waving his hands...so whatever...just drove on...

getting off the off ramp, i had to stop behind a honda...passanger window goes down and OUT GOES A MCdonalds bag...?!?!!WTF
....sorry, i love my state and wouldnt live any where else...that dirty *** piece of trash just threw some trash out...if you dont want to keep it clean...MOVE

i have a guy come into work tonight...and want 4 michelins adjusted...bc he didnt get his 65k miles out of them...there 200$ tires...and he got 60k....listen people...NOT everyone gets all the miles out of their tires...sooo to be nice i told him i wouldnt charge him to put a new set on (100$)...and id give him a free oil change....he went off on me in his ******* boston accent telling me he had a .22 mag.....
....1..dont insult me and threaten me in the county i used to be a cop in...not smart....2...you better have a larger caliber then that...because im damn good with my .45 in my car....3. dont come in my shop with some cracked up attitude and demand free tires...

and to top it off, i blew my axles out of my car yesterday and had to replace them today...-$700 and gear oil all over me...

People who litter are high on my **** list, that stuff drives me crazy. My friends usually poke fun cause I won't throw a can out the window and stuff like that, or yell at them when they put plastic or cardboard in the trash can, when in our area we have recycling for plastic/cardboard.

i dont know...maybe its me, but throwing crap out shows your true colors...
if they made littering fines higher and actually enforce them...that might help out with the state funds issue...

Yeah I don't know what the deal is man but there's a lot of people here that are total @$$holes....especially on the road. I'm a native of this state and would love to stay here the rest of my life, but seeing more and more of the kind of stuff you mentioned each day makes me just want to leave. I've been fortunate to have done lot of traveling here in the U.S. and can think of much nicer places to be other than here. If I hadn't got my career started I'd already be gone.
Man I ran into a total ***** the other day too. i was in the company van and some jackass decided to ride in the passing lane but not pass, after he came hauling *** up on me. I moved to the middle lane. After that he didnt pass, and after putting my signal on 5 times and having him step on the gas and block me, I finally got the room to move over. I had plenty of room and he was a minimum of 2 cars back and didnt have to slow down. He went ape ****. Hauled *** around me in his stupid little Toyota Prius and slammed on his brakes flipping me off etc. So he then gets beside me and says pull over, that he is gonna kick my ***. So I pull out the video camera and start filming. And pull off the road. He blocks 2 lanes almost stops jamming up traffic behind him, then becomes BIG *****. and hauls ***. So I catch back up to him taking pictures and video as he screams out his window and flips me off as he gets off the interstate. I then follow him to make sure I have his plates and once off I make a uturn and get back on.

You move over and they begin to fluctuate speeds and sit in your blind spot or fall back, catch up, fall back catch up then you get stuck behind someone going way slow because of this moron. Then when you finally move back over after 10 miles of putting up with his assholeness, with plenty of room, they flip out. Get a life buddy, try keeping an even speed sometime in your hunk of **** Prius.

Living in and driving NJ for many years, I came to a realization that.....
Asswh0les are like traffic lights, every few blocks you will eventually see/run into one.
Florida does have some idiots on the road too but not as bad as NJ. I feel your pain but still prefer it down here.

I'm a truck driver (all 48 states) I have seen nearly all of it and even had a few call ins saying I almost ran someone off the road, cut some one off, driving almost 90 miles an hour (in a 72 mph truck thats governed). Texas, Atlanta Ga, Chicago Il, and all of N Jersey are amongst the absolute worst, oh yeah and of coarse La. Just be careful out there fella's and try not to take driving or who's next to you for granted.

man that sucks. but that is how drivers are down here. they think they have the right of way all of the time. and you are always in the wrong no matter what. I have tried to be calm about situations but a lot of people down here are crappy drivers. like bobodog said just try to laugh and drive on.

Road rage originated in Florida. I would bet anything on it.
But with that said I think its because we have so many women in Florida. Thats right I said it. Women drivers SUCK ***!! You dont have to believe me but next time your out driving count the number of times you get pissed off and a I guarantee that the ratio will be AT LEAST 3:1 in favor of women. Count the number of people on their cellphones while driving and that ratio will triple. 9:1. The number of people TEXTING while driving 10000000:1.
But the next time a woman driver pisses you off remember their not as bad as these chicks

The problem as I see it is most people here are from new york, new jersey, etc. I know from many years of dealing with new home owners that new yorkers are ******* ********, period. They come here and think they're going to take over.

As far as throwing trash out the window, thats real big in Texas, I lived there for 4 months. Get too close behind someone and all kinds of **** starts flying out the windows.
I've got to say though as big as Texas is most people I ran into are decent and treat you with respect, you might run into an ******* occasionally. In Florida it's like most people are ******** but you might run into a decent person occasionally.
