WHY did I have to buy a car from North Carolina?! There isn't any rust anywhere else on the car except the damn exhaust bolts..

I doubt it's from being from NC. I just got done replacing nearly all of my exhaust fasteners thanks to rust. I broke 3 of them that had to be taken to a machine shop to get drilled out. Not fun.

Unless its stainless steel its going to rust... period. I used all stainless parts for my montes exhaust, except the 2 last exhaust hangers towards the end of the pipes, they are all rusted, nothing else is.
