You might want to check your local laws before planting your car there

EDIT: So, I did a little digging, and cities like Myrtle Beach, SC and Los Angeles, CA have consistently been appealing and repealing these "hybrid spaces". In CA, a vehicle inspection can warrant a "Clean Air" sticker, which allows them to park in the space.
Furthermore, many of these spaces are part of a pilot program, so nothing is really written in stone yet.

Then the St Johns Water Management says I cant water my grass, but is going to let a bottled water company(Niagra) take hundreds of thousands of gallons out a day to sell for a profit???????
It is definately more hype than fact. What ever happened to acid rain, global cooling, the hole in the ozone, etc etc etc. Panic helps politicians achieve more votes and more power.
Oh and while I am thinking about it make sure your tires are inflated properly so you can help make us more energy independant.
I will do a burn out on the spot if I see one. Instead of all this hybrid ****- they could save a lot of energy if the government made it manditory to recycle.
I think alternative fuels like E85 and low emission diesel are the future. These Hybrids are stupid. Global warming? I think that was a paper written by a Democratic politician in college that got a mediocre grade and a note by the professor that it is a completely flawed idea.
I am not opposed to keeping the environment clean, but a special spot for a "Hybrid" vehicle? My camaro is Hybrid. Made in Canada by an US company. I will park there.
a. Something of mixed origin or composition.

That's ******* ridiculous, just because some smug douchebag bought a crappy hybrid that might only last like 5-10 years before it's batteries die out and the cost to replace them will be more than the whole car itself, then there is the disposal of these horrible batteries.
Hybrids are a short term solution to a long term problem. Or you could argue that we should drill off the coast or that huge oil field they just found up in the Dakotas. There are so many things better than these hybrids. Some guy took the whole hybrid setup out of a honda insight and dropped a K20 (Si engine) in it and got way better MPGs than the hybrid engine setup.
also those damn energy efficent lightbulbs have ****** mercury in them and most people still just throw them in the trash when they are done with them. they think oh im saving the environment by saving energy but really people you arent your just ******* it up more
who the hell comes up with this **** seriously

First off, I agree with you 100%. I would be PISSED if I was ever told I can not drive my car because it is not environmentally safe. However, emissions aside we are all guilty of many many things that hurt our environment. I will give one example: plastic. The amount of plastic bottles and bags that we use (which take virtually forever to decompose) is ridiculous and it IS hurting our environment. We might not all notice it yet, but eventually all that plastic (not to mention all of our other unneeded waste) is going to catch up to us.
All I'm saying if that while we all may be sick and tired of hearing about the "green" way, we should all still pay attention to it. Sure, hybrids are most likely, with technology today, NOT the answer. But aside from our cars, there are many things that are available to us that ARE cheaper, reusable, and much less harmful to the environment that we can use in our everyday lives. Look at Europe, you can't even get a plastic bag for your groceries! Plus, you said it yourself, water bottling companies are using 100s of thousands of gallons of water and 100s of thousands of tons of plastic bottles every day just to sell something we could get out of our tap.
As for hybrid parking? Who cares? If someone is stupid enough to pay that much money, just to (5 years later) save some money on gas... I will let them park closer than me. They obviously road the short bus to school.

Look at Europe?? No thanks. Socialism is not the answer. Oh and by the way while we are looking, it takes about a year and a half to get a nuclear power plant approved and up and running in France(of all places). We are not approving any at this time and have not in about 30 years, but that is probably one of the best sources of energy with the least waste. They wont let them build more refinaries here, and so on and so on.
Oh and you called me ignorant. Trust me I do a lot of research and read a lot of reports on all this crap, not just left wing propaganda, and I am far from ignorant.
