^ I was curious about that. I take it you have to build some kind of support in for the turbos etc.? Right now their attached/supported by the manifolds only and I'd assume those get mighty hot under boost right?

There is still more frabrication to do but you really would be surprised what the aftermarket hood can do with heat removal. Motor will go back to engine builder and things will move along as my parts locker is full there. They are expecting to dyno the motor with the turbos attached. I hope we can get lots of pictures of that build as well. Once that is done the motor comes back and then things really start getting close to the final tune and break in driving. My Christmas will come more around March of next year!

Chance of a lifetime if you ask me. I would go for it. Good luck with getting it in it.

About five weeks for the motor build. Will receive an engine dyno with turbos. Then motor put into the car and everything else assembled. All tuning will be done by Grimes Automotive and APF. Looking for early March to start the break in.

Yes sir! The Mustang dyno allows the ability to add additional load which turbos just love. I expect it will be tuned on both the mustang and final street tune on a Dynojet.

Mr.427
Enjoying reading about your "little" project. It should be an absolute blast to drive, espectially with the stick.

Not asking your specific numbers but how much would a build of this size set a man back?

Thx

Well keep in mind this is a one off build. No kits, everything is hand built and fabricated. I guess somewhere in the neighborhood of a base C6.

Damn...a bit more than I expected but when you factor in all of the custom fabrication, I can believe it. I was thinking in the neighborhood of 15-20 but can see where the one off fab work will add up. Good luck with it. It oughta be a tire shredder....
