WOW what an awsome project! Its gonna make sick power.
I just dont see the reason for the manual tranny. With turbos behind it hitting hard gonna be tough to put any kind of tire on it for the street. And if it goes to the track still hard pressed to see the 6speed manual tranny cars breaking into the 9`s. There seem to be so many manual trans cars with big power failing to get into the 9`s you have to have an appreciation for the cars that do get into the 9's with the T56/MN6. And from what I have seen the manual trans cars with turbos have more problem getting low numbers at the track because what seems to be shifting and spooling issues and the turbo coming in so hard.
Will make one hell of a standing mile car and the bling factor is awsome.

why not go with one of those auto trans that have numerous levers, a lever to engage each gear. I think they are called.... ****. I want to say it starts with an L. Lenko maybe?
that way you could have all the advantages of an auto (quick shifting, no clutch to keeep replacing, etc), yet also have the "hands on" feel of an auto.
Plus, since you are going for "unique", that would hit the spot. i never see those on street cars, and rarely on the track cars.

Not sure but I think they call them sequential transmissions. I heard they run about 25K for one of those.

First of all...I am only 60 but 30 at heart! My money is not stupid...**** no money is stupid. I just decided that I would spend my kids inheritance cause of all the headaches they gave me when they were young...pay back is a bitch kids!
As far as the intake is concerned you know better than anyone why you want plenty of air going in....but then again....your the guy that over torques his heads till the ARP studs snap! :-)

I thought that tranny was pretty cool when i saw it. I was thinking of eventually installing such a device in a future car of mine, but at $25k, i think i can deal with a standard auto trans.
