Sorry once they increased the boost into higher levels the dyno broke. Last readings were in the 1400 range I think. Everyone is happy with the motor so going ahead and stick it in the car phase now!

Well it seems they had a real problem with the water brake. Would not hold the power so the motor would peak and then drop off. Good news is the motor held up very well. Just not sure how accurate some of those readings were. The rubber will hit the road once it's on a chassis dyno and gets some tuning.

Thanks everyone. I know I have really enjoyed seeing a lot of your builds and I know you were really excited once you had the car back. I am enjoying the anticipation....it's kind of like Christmas for me now!

As part of my project I had to sell my 19 inch wheels to be able to run MT 345's 18 in the rear. This is what I got from Forgeline....

Here they are stuck on the car.

im dieing here, this is the most beutiful color on the vette ever produced, my uncle has a 1998 with this color and when he let me drive it, i instantly sold my 300gt vr4 with 400 awhp and bought my 2004 gto (i had to have and ls1 powered car, though the 3k handled better). i gotta say that this project is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen. CONGRATS on the build. im sure itll be more then you expect and nothing around will contend with you on the street. LOL. Great car. Great build. again, CONGRATS!!!!! cant wait to see some vids
