A nice streetable 1000 rwhp...I love it, it's wise to start out with a modest goal. Looking good Mr. 427!

Ls7X Six bolt heads fit perfect on Six bolt LSX block. Your gonna want that to not push water. Heads flow nice too....about 390cfm!!! What you see in pic is a mock up for creation of the intake. No ARP studs in mock up.

I love the intake. Are you doing the intake or you having it made?

Please, if you can explain further as i am always interested in counter opinions. Thanks...
I had them and ran them on the street and track. People underestimate the head flow and ci on these motors. I have ET LS7 heads that flow great. Even with a small hyd cam 66's TOO small for your setup IMO, a waste of $ for the heads and ci. 350-370 ci~ ok. Not a 427-434 with heads that flow so good, not to mention your intake. I use a stock LS7 intake. lol

I love the 76's, I'm a little bummed I didn't go with a bigger housing more free hp. Maybe a change over the winter. The 76's on my 427 are great on the street and mad power at the track. I just ran a 8.9 on 15 lbs of boost with 14 deg of timing. I don't think you'll have head gasket issues but not getting the most out of your setup. I would listen to Dr. Turbo he suggested the 76's and I couldn't be happier. Btw, I'm not a turbo expert by far, but I do know what my car did and how it drove! I'm going to go out this Sunday, if the track and my chassis are up to the task,,,, I'm looking for a new best et.

Best of luck, it looks like a killer build!!

I would suggest to him 16 injectors,(best of both worlds) otheriwse you give up low speed-idle tuning.

Wow...so many questions.......I am going over to the builder today and I will discuss the turbo size again. We may call Turbonetics again and discuss but after looking on Dr. Turbos web site those Borg Warner Turbos look nice, although I know nothing about them!

injectors will be 16 60's with dual pumps and feeds. The intake is being made by the folks that will be doing the build and install. Atlanta Performance and Fabrication. Intake is being built based upon flow formulas for heads etc.

Again.....thanks for the comments!

The holes are surge holes drilled into the cover. Not needed for V8's.

Chris.

Yes it's totally custom. Everything is made for the project. No "KITS" here.

Please post pics of the intake when it is done. I would love to see how you are going to put the 16 injectors in it. I'm wondering if I would be able to have that done to my beck intake.

The turbos will be mounted up top. Here is a pic of a 1400rwhp C6Z06 with a set up that will be very similar to mine!
