First off they are Tubular Header's, not Manifold's. There is a difference.
Secondly, I am sure there won't be any problem's with the setup.

The welds don't look horrible but I would definitely question why they didn't backpurge.

Why would you back purge them? They arent dairy, food, or medical grade and whats to say there was any burn through? I never back purge any headers I make and they arent 100% penetration....Why would you need to have that? Do they need to pass x-ray and meet california standards for earthquakes and building code? No. The weld size excedes the thickness of the material, so 100% penetration is not needed for any structual integrity. If the tubes crack it 99.999% happens around the weld...not the weld itself. So the material being used is what determines how it will hold up. Not if its welded to meet ASME specs. His welds might not be cosmetically perfect, but go over them with some finishing tools, die grinder, sander, and some polishing wheels they'd be pretty damn good. Just try not to remove to much of the weld.

Ive made them for 2 turbo setups. I was a ASME V pipe welder for 9 years and have done quite a bit of welding piping and tubing along with a lot of engineering.

My Nova was the first one I did - http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2251820

Then the BMW I helped my friend do.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...urbo-5-3l.html

Im currently building a new setup with twins for the Nova.

Valve covers didn't ******' fit. They didn't clear the rockers. Waiting on a new set so we can put it on the engine dyno.

Why not just customize the set you have? You may have a hard time finding a set that will actually bolt right on using those rockers.

Motor on the dyno.....had ignition problems and only ran on seven cylinders. Still put out almost 550 HP. Got that issue solved this AM and more dyno testing today. Then hook up turbos for more testing. here is a video and some pics.
