I had a lot of fun with the car, sure it cost and I will lose my *** on it but 25 cents back on the dollar is better than nothing.

I have described the suspension setup a dozen times, all basic stuff. 3rd and 4th F-bodies are the easiest cars on earth to get to to hook, but smooth, consistent power delivery is just as important in that first 60 feet or so as the suspension

Well, it's sad to see it go but I'm sure you'll figure out the new project soon.

I can't wait until you figure the next one out!

Awesome car Kevin. Lots of people from F1 blowers because of you. You paved the way for a lot of people with your ingenuity.

Good luck to ya'. You've been a knowledgeable source since I first ventured into the FI forums.

BTW, I know how it feels to become bored (or annoyed) with your FI setup. Taking the step to another direction is hard......

Its definately sold, along with 80% of the rest of the drivetrain, just keeping the TH400 transmission for a future project.

Bored yes, but I have never been annoyed with this setup at all. Since 1999 I have had five (yes 5) LS1 F-bodies and a C5. Two were NA buildups, one was nitrous and three were procharged. I have never had any issues whatsoever with blower setups from one of the first P1SC procharger kits ever sold for a LS f-body to the last one. Not trying to sell anything just stating my experience, all were built to do a certain thing and they all exceeded my expectations. Thats the awesome thing about the LSx platform, it seldom disappoints.

I'm so familiar with these cars its hard to make a switch, having had them disassembled to absolutely nothing and putting them back together again several times there is not one inch of these cars I dont know. But sometimes familiarity turns into complacency and I'm not the type to become too complacent with anything

Damn hopefully the car will be taken care of as well as you took care of it! As for future projects I say def look into a tubular chassis kit car, maybe mid engine? Either that or go with a mid 90's gts viper build.

It will be BBC powered whatever it is, thats all I used to run and I havent looked at one in 10 years and I'm excited with all the new heads and blocks out there these days. I'm really more of an N/A guy though..

I was looking at some GTS Vipers, never had one and seemed interesting but as far as modding goes you need to be a rich guy. I'd rather start with shiny new LS3 C6 to be honest and start modding, be cheaper in the end and its a new car..

True makes sense, just wasnt sure if you wanted to go to a completely different car. I have seen some really nice, low mileage GTS vipers go at auction for under 30K though in the past few months so they arent too bad, but again modding one does get expensive. If your going BBC, maybe look at building a turboed 500-600+ ci BBC and toss it into a truck? Would be something different!

KP - You'll always be the man. Sucks it had to crack the way it did, that is REALLY lame. Hope you get some of your money back out of the car, and invest some of it in a really reliable car that will be running 9.xx! You take it easy, and hope to hear from you again!

No trucks lol, I have a newer dmax and a TBSS, I love them stock

I already bought another car to play with, small block chevy nitrous car, may eventually end up being LS powered but its a 5.50 1/8 mile stock suspension car thats legal for a lot of the local tracks here. Needs to be a couple tenths quicker to be competitive but thats nothing a few dollars wont fix..

My wife actually cried a little when I was loading it in the trailer for the last time today. Even the kids were sad to see it go..

I most likely wont get another f-body but a c6 isnt out of the question.

I did alright money-wise on it, you dont make money on these things when you race them often. But to be honest if I pushed it off a cliff or gave it awayi I would still be money ahead after a couple years
