You will be closer to 6700rpm with 140mph speeds. I would think your combo is capable of these speeds after all the bugs are worked out. Do you plan on staying with the 4.11s? I know Mike Brown runs 3.50s in his 9-inch for this reason. No need to make the motor spin extra high with FI.
I am also very close to putting 29's on the car.
I'd rather put on some 29's first but I need to dyno it first and see what the converter does too.
The motor is set up to buzz to 7200 rpms.

Question though, would the 29's vs. the 28's affect dyno readings? If you are trying to get a great tune, wouldn't it be better to tune it in a "race ready" configuration rather than change something after the dyno?
Chris
Keys for me are to dyno with the same gas, same plugs and same exhaust configuration.
I have a set of NGK TR8's to put into the car between now and Tuesday when we are hopefully going to dyno the car. Car already has a bellyfull of VP C16.
Good luck bro, can't wait to see what that beats does.Mike

Congrats PSJ what boost level are you baselining at?
