I was thinking about doing to turbo setup to my Camaro but im not sure if the intended turbo i wanted to run would be too much? The turbo is a s91 from Forced Inductions on my 370? Heres the motor now as it sets:

Lost the cam card, but the specs are 228/232 @.050 with ~.580 lift
all new GM gaskets
TSP air lid
LS6 Intake
ported LS6 oil pump
Comp hardned pushrods
Mac headers w/ true duals
160 T-stat
ASP underdrive pully
ported stock throttle body

that depends on a few things
1. intended purpose
2. goals for the car
3. transmission (manual or auto)
4. what A/R?
You could probably answer this question if you or just call forced inductions

now the short answer you'll probably be fine if its an auto. m6 will be a bit laggy

The car is not my daily driver but it will see more street than track time. My goal for the setup is to be making 900-1000 rwhp and hopefully running mid 9's? The car is a m6.

I would personally step down in size to an 80mm or an 88mm if it was going to see a lot of street time. An properly spec'd out 80mm on a 370 is capable of making you HP goals and still being tons of fun to drive since it spools fast. If you were a TH400 or 4L80 i'd say go for the 91mm. Turbo choice really depends a lot on trans type and the owners tolerance for spool time. For the street some lag helps for traction, but if it's too laggy the turbo usually comes on really hard when it finally does and creates a larger traction issue.

Since an 80mm, 88mm and 91mm can all meet your HP goals, I'd go with the smallest one that works. For street driving i'm usually at 650-700 rwhp and it's more than enough for driving around on.

The Garrett GT88 is also a viable option if your on a budget. GT47-88 comp wheel in a mid-frame unit with 94mm turbine wheel and 1.08A/R housing would spool quite nicely. That unit is only $1249 as well, so its hard to argue.
