Default Patriot Duals the best spring for FI?

Motor is stock as of right now. I want to put some 317 heads in it, and figured I would upgrade the springs as well.

What do you guys think?

I know EPP sells the Patriot Duals with the lockers for like 255.00.

They make the Patriot Extreme's that work well for forced induction and N2O.

I will keep that in mind.

What pushrods do you guys recommend? Its a stock cam at the moment. Would like pushrods that are compatible with an LS6 cam in case I go that route in the near future.

I ran Thunder Racing 7.400 length hardened rods for 15K miles w/ no issues. Revved the car to 6800 on at least 100 1/4 mile drag passes. New setup has Comp Cams 7.450 hardened rods. Run them to 6700RPM at the track. Have 2K miles on those. No issues yet.

We use Patriot Gold Springs in virtually all our builds. We have never had a problem with them, and we run a lot of boost with them. This car that sees a lot of road course work is a prime example. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=40 Bob

Make sure you give them adequate seat pressure. My ETP's came with Patriot Dual valve springs, and I was getting a ton of valve float. We had to take the springs off and shim them. Its time consuming to do, so make sure you shim them properly the first time.

Theres not much difference between aftermarket performance brand push rods fyi. I'd buy whatever you can get the best deal on. I'm running comp 7.35's now ( milled heads so needed shorter ) and I have run Manley as well in this engine. Both handled 7K rpm no problem

can't go wrong with the patriot springs they are the best for the money. If you know you are gonna run boost you should go with their extreme spring no doubt about it. I went with comp 921's, but when it comes for a spring change I plan on saving money and going with the patriot extreme.
