I got perma-banned from CF so I haven't seen your work in quite some time... looks awesome. Usually the top mount setups look like a cluster#@*$ under the hood but yours looks great.

Love the color... I repainted mine a brighter shade of yellow based on Ford's Screamin Yellow but sometimes I wish I'd gone out there w/ a metallic orange like I had considered.

I vote on keeping the stock facia and hood... car looks very clean. I had a tigershark nose for a few years and went back to stock. I do have DRM hood though. Is that a Specter Werkes rear? I have one sitting at my painters waiting for me to replenish my fun money account.

Hey thanks Brian. I planned to fit the tiger shark front to see how she looks with my new hood. It is the specter werks rear facia, you might want to bolt it up and check the fitment before paint.

^ Yeah... I fully expect to have to do some fiberglass massaging to make it fit properly.

Well it all fit under the stock hood, but the down pipes were touching a little. I cut some small slots undert he hood, but it was not absolutly necessary.

what size downpipes do you have and what size intercooler piping do you use. i want to use the same 35rs but will be using truck manifolds instead of headers and was just wondering what size piping i should use to feed turbos, and for the downpipes etc. i hope my setup is in the ballpark of what your car has done simply gorgouse.

It is a three inch downpipe that steps upto four inch just before the side pipes. The intercooler pipes are two and a half inch going into the cooler core and four inch going the the throttle body. I wouldn't go to large to feed the turbo chargers ... you will loose the velocity and heat needed to spool the turbo.

Sounds good. the larger and sooner you dump that exhaust, the more power you will see.

That should be more than enough. I have seen over 1100rwhp with my twin GT35Rs on the dyno with three inch pipes all the way to the back.

oh very cool. so how long did it take you to put your car together? and is your intake on the car a custom sheet metal for your setup or an off the shelf manifold. ive never seen it before and it looks great. I was just going to run a victor junior with an intake elbow from intake elbows.com.

The vic jr will prolly net more gains. It is a Wilson Billet intake manifold ... check out the inside :

The car took me about 10-12 months to build and has been my pet project ever since. I have the drive line out of it now putting in a custom IRS turbo 400 setup.

wow that intake is gorgeous but its nice to know that the victor junior can net better gains considering its more in my price range and still gets the look i like off. Do you think 2.5 inch piping would be the right size from the manifold to the turbo.I cant wait till im ready to start my project. just saving and saving and saving lol. How do you keep your heads on your car pushing 20 pounds of boost. Any meth injec. or o-ringing or anything.
Wow custom irs 400 setup thats really awesome. Putting a turbo kit together is one thing but putting together a custom driveline like that is impressive. What times are you looking to run with that. I dont think ill ever change my 6 speed i love banging through the gears. But who knows maybe after the car is together after a few years i might swap one in for a couple track passes to see all its got.
