Is an S475 with a 1.10 A/R T6 too big for a stock cube engine rear mount? i am not interested in instant spool i am just wondering if it will spool at all? Also can it accually fit under there i have seen ST80 fit, are they the same size?

I wouldnt put that big a turbo in the rear man . The ar is just pretty much going to move you around the powerband if you go to big your spool times will be crap .

IMO i see no reson to rev the crap out of a street driven turbo car it will make plenty of power to 6k and thats all I want to spin my car to, so I went with a slightly lower ar to get the spool time . You could add som ar it will pull harder and higher but it will beat the crap out of you motor in the process

I'm moving up to a 1.25 a/r if my new converter spools my current 1.00 a/r setup better. If that works I'm going to try the 87mm turbine wheel out.

I just got back from driving my car. It was basically undrivable on 16psi with my race tune on 275/40/17 nitto drag radials. I turned it down to 12psi which helped a little, but the car still blows the tires off hard from a 70mph roll in 2nd gear (4000 rpms). My tires are shot, but it even blows off the hoosier drag radials and it's still in the 60's temp wise.

You just need to make sure you have the correct exhaust (keep the heat in) and converter setup for a rearmount. I don't think my setup is very laggy feeling, especially now that it's cooled off.

Something like a TC76 would work well, so would a t70. Sizing the turbo really depends on your goals and your cars setup. I love my ST80 and I'm going to push it some more to see what it can do as a rear mount. Jose from Forcedinductions.com could probably steer you in the right direction.

the 475 with the 83mm turbine wheel and 1.1a/r wouldn't be far off from Zombie's setup. The t6 housing is bigger but the compressor wheel you are running would be a lot smaller, I wonder if it would be a toss up on spool time?

thanks for the help guys i was concidereing a T70 also my goal is around 550 on 8-9psi with meth right now i am at 5psi with a smaller turbo. the t70 will be able to do that pretty easly, but should i go with a 68 A/R exhaust side for quick spool or will that max out too quick and choke me? I have a fully wrapped exhaust.

Is there a .81 avail. for the turbo you are looking at the .68 would be a little small.
