Dallas Performance made 905/800 on my 427 - F1C with stock LS2 head castings and a stock LS2 intake.

Check out this D-1SC build on a 408 in a T/A. On a DynoJet this would of been at 800 rwhp as we saw 757 rwhp on our Mustang Chassis Dyno. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=42

Here is my complete F Body D-1SC price. Bob

I can't seem to get a set price on a good YSi kit (even from RMCR). The F1C setup from EPP is almost $9k, but it has absolutely everything I would need, including injectors and fuel pump. I'm just looking for the best band for my buck like anyone else. I want to be able to make the most power I can on pump gas.

Can I just use a D1SC and put a small pulley on it to put out around 20 pounds of boost. I know it COULD be done just by looking at this spec chart I found on the Procharger web site. I guess the question is why don't most people do it that way?

http://www.procharger.com/models.shtml

If that is a bad idea for whatever reason, then do I need to be looking at F1C blowers, or is an F1A blower fine for making 800-900rwhp on my forged 347?

It makes the blower inefficient...

A F1A is perfect for what you are looking for... I wouldn't look any further!

If your chosen engine could consume more air than the blower provides for any given speed....you would never make any boost.

Its all about airflow, not boost. And trying to ring the life out of a small blower, as already stated makes things very inefficient.

You can't get that much boost out of a D-1SC, the spec's on ProChargers website don't correspond to what you will see with a V-8. Bob

If your referring to the older ATI brackets.....then they are junk!!

The head units on the other hand, have proven themselves over and over again.

I know RMCR has had several cars that have made 850+ RWHP with the YSi. There best I think is like 985 RWHP with LS6 casting heads and 19 PSI.

I also think they are making a low mount supercharger kit with the V-3 Superchargers and FMIC.

I have a ysi it made 954 RWHP on pump gas427 stock block, crank, heads ported soft tune and would have made more but the clutch was only rated at 800 hp this was on a dyno jet and they correct way to much in the cold and the step up is give and take the ysi is easyer to spin becuase no gear reduction and the F1s are harder to spin becuase of the big gears, either way they are both great blowers. You can lookup my dyno sheet under FRan96SS the tread is 954 zo6 or somthing like that

My combo is a 403 ci using et ls7 heads with a ysi vortec supercharger . We have always had belt issues with 8-10 rib serpentine systems. I then made a custom pulley gilmer belt which is 50mm. It has two eccentric pulleys to place tension on the belts . ill post a boost graph for you .
