How much does cubic inch size matter with these big blowers? The previous owner build a great flowing, solid motor good for well over 1,000 hp, but for some reason chose to stay with a 347 ci. displacement. I know that for a turbo car, a bigger stroked motor will make more power off boost and spool up quicker as well. The only advantage I can think of with a s/c setup would be more power capability on pump gas, but the smaller motor might rev a little higher. I have seen some pretty badass drag cars with destroked motors so there must be some reason for it. Anyone have any input?

Maybe if there's so much concern with the belt and whatnot the F2 would be a better idea, just go with a big cog and call it a day? Are the belt issues the same with the above pictured setup with the cog belt?
F1R will get you in the 7's, the F2 will get there easier.

Cog is the only way to go with a F2

The best blower motor would be a big bore, short stroke motor, like a 427 block with a stock stroke. Unless your cars a pig and weighs over 3800lbs then the 4" stroke is better.

What width is that belt, and are those pulleys off the shelf items, or custom ( mostly crank ) ??

Default F3d

I went with F3D to see how long the stock block will last.
