It comes with plugs. The fix is simple. Get better valve springs. We used the SLP replacement springs (about $120) on Shawn's car and it pulled all the way to 6200 without dropping off.

Hope that helps.

Rob

On an otherwise stock engine what power/torque difference would there be between the T-66 & T-76/3 (forgot the exact size of the turbo you offer).

Stronger midrange? Top end?

We offer every size turbo. However, our base turbo is the TE63, which will support much more than a stock engine can handle...up to 750fwhp. The T74 (which is the turbo I ran 9.86 with) is our most common upgrade. It can support over 900fwhp. However, a stock engine could not benefit from it.

To answer your question specifically though, the TE63 would spool faster, but would not pull as hard on the top end. The T74 would spool slower, but would pull like mad up top. (obviously I am not taking engine differences into account in this comparison)

Does that answer it?

What would be the differences in peak power & torque i.e. how much higher in the RPM band does the T7X peak compared to the T6X and what is the difference in power assuming the stock cam and a bottom end that could handle it.

Really don't care for exact numbers but a general idea would be great.

What rear end gear ratio would you suggest with a T-56 to keep the car in its efficiency range?

Thanks for your time.

I had changed the pushrods and springs in my car before Rob did the turbo install. There is no drop off in hp until you let off the gas. You can see one of the dyno graphs at www.blackz28turbo.com.

My original Graph pulls to 6000 fairly flatly, but by then I lost just a couple of HP due to the LS1 intake. Nothing like Shawn's car with the stock springs though.

Black Z.... Nice car... very clean.

But i have a question, if you have an auto with a stall in that car, how can the speed vs. rpm be linear? Looks like something you would see with a manual car and a non slipping clutch.

Thanks,

-Jarrod

I deleted those comments since they are off topic and should have their own thread.

While Rob is answering tech q's, Rob what turbos do you offer with the kit? Are there two or more turbos offered?

Thanks for the compliment.

I don't know how to answer your question because I don't know much about this stuff. I do know that it is a 3500 stall with a Rosler built transmission and a 12-bolt mosier if that helps. Rob would probably be able to explain why since he pretty much built the car.

I have the adjustable cat back borla on mine. It was really raspy and loud so we changed the muffler to a Borla X1 and now it is just loud.
