Turbos are too small. Go big or go home.

Twin 88's.

Those turbos look massive under there. Is that how you plan on mounting them or is that just a general picture to give you a size proportion?

Yes that is where they will be mounted. I got them sitting at the same angle and height today. but they are sitting with in a half inch in that pic. If you look down and to the side of the turbos you can see the tubing that supports them

You need to get with the NMCA committee to change the LSX shootout rules to twin 88's instead of twin 76's. If they do not change the rules Paul Major and myself will be going to the Shakedown at Etown instead of the LSX Shootout this year...Im sure all other drag radial guys will be trying to keep the rules as is, but I think they just need to step there games up. Outlaw Drag radial was created to see how far we can push these LSX motors, not to limit them to a certain speed.

I totally agree, lift the tire limit too. They found out the N2O cars aren't in the same zip code. So separate them and lift the limits on the turbo cars, so we can see what really can be done at Memphis.
I wouldn't mind seeing them allow aftermarket blocks too. There is some interesting stuff coming out.

It would make sense for the NMCA to definitely make some changes. I noticed in the latest issue of FSC they have the LSX shootout listed as the LS shootout. I am guessing this means GM performance parts is done with sponsoring the event. I to, was planning on going to the Shakedown, even if it was just to watch.

Sorry I am going to The Shake Down this season no matter what. The engine built for the LSX shoot out is for sale and the turbos are already gone. The LSX Shoot Out is an awsome event but with a race as big as the shake down going on at the same time, in my back yard. It's hard to justify making the trip.

Best of luck to everyone I am sure they will have one hell of a show. Steve the rules have been set for two years now. I wouldn't expect them to change. If you were building your car for that event you should have stuck with the billet 106. I know thats what I would have done.

I agree with you!! I wana see ***** to the wall action. I wanna see what these LSX cars can really do. I dont see them letting ppl use 88's instead of 76's.

That sucks that Major wont be there. To bad they wont allow other cars with LSX platforms to compete.

Looking bad *** Steven.....

I wonder if the wholw rules thing will come up as a discussion as they did before...

They really do need to open up FI as one class and N2O as another.... there is no point limiting turbo cars, because N2O cars cant even compete at what breaks they did give them so there is no point..... we realy need to bring this up early so others can plan and work on the builds now..... not a month before... or go somehwere else..... ill have to come to E-Town this yr..... its alot closer for me to drie there then Memphis..... i would like to do both though.

Keep up the bad *** work.

Dual rear calipers are to help get the car up on power during staging. You have to have them if you plan on running a big turbo or in this case 2.Rear looks like a burkhart fab 9in .Same one i have in my car.
