Damn impressive! Everything looks well thought-out. I like the wing setup too. But it must be a street car eh? I mean, it's still got a dash board (well, sort of).

The problem is the factory crank/reluctor wheel loses resolution above 7500, the square wave turns into a sine wave. From talking to a couple people the ignition coils are NOT the limiting factor. Micks performance has a standalone ECU system that is designed around the LS style coils and they have used them on 3000hp methanol systems but using a high resolution sensor for the crank signal.

what are the specs on the firehawk? is it a real firehawk, what year, production #?

Yes it is a real fire hawk I will see about getting those #'s. I will also try and get some pics up. Right now we are cutting out unwanted sheet metal. We got almost 30 lbs out so far.
