i have a **** load of mild steel and stainless steel bends here at the shop if you guys need any bends or straight pipes. They are left-overs from a bunch of different builds but they are in perfect shape and are not cut up in any way. PM me for more info, and sorry in advance for the

On a side note i'd say use mild steel for budget street builds, its MUCH cheaper, easier to work with, and ive never had a problem with anything rusting on any of my cars(even though i live in Miami, FLwhere there is no salt). I'd use mild unless you abuse the life out of your car/setup, if you do i would grab stainless but i dont think anyone will be able to drive their car long or hard enough for a pipe to completely fall apart. Half the time most of us are under our cars little fixing problems anyways so there wont be much driving going on compared to a true daily driven "beater"-mobile

I do all our kits in mild steel, then stainless for the downpipe back. Then we coat it and they never rust and none of them have cracked.Important thing is to make sure you support the turbo weight and don't rely on the piping too.

I would go stainless if you can weld it and your pockets handle it. IMO i would go 316 stainless because it is better with heating / cooling and remaining its strength compared to 304.

Let us know what you do.
Where in NY are you, i will do your stainless welds with a Tig...

Where did you find the 1/2" thick flanges with the openings sized for pipe? Columbia River only shows SBC flanges and they are out of stock.
