Maxed out FI set up... Posible Nitrous solution???

Maxed out FI set up... Posible Nitrous solution???
I am stuck between a rock and a very expensive place right now. I am running a older TTI 60 set up and have hit a few limits. Why the turbo still has a little room to grow but the intercooler set up and manifolds just cant flow the amount of air into the engine that it needs to make good horse power in the upper part of the power band. The car makes great torque down low but once she gets into the upper power band where she should be making peak horses she just levels off and i fill like there is a lot more power to be had. The car is set up with meth but during tuning the suggestion was made too bump timing up and keep boost down to a mild 8-9 pounds.
I ran nitrous on the car before the TTI set up. I am considering adding it back to the car with a much smaller shot fired off a window switch around 4000 RPMs.
Any one out there with experince with meth/nitrous and boost/nitrous please fill free to comment in. I am trying to stay away from swaping out my current TTI kit until i can finish a few other projects i am working on

Stock bottom end? Whats the current dyno curve look like?
You can change the way the curve looks and where it makes power with different compressor wheels and exhaust housings. The manifolds should not be an issue at all, but I can understand your dilemma. Swapping compressor covers and wheels would help a lot, as well as seeing what your current turbine housing is and whats available.
Nitrous is VERY tempting, but I would look at bigger picture stuff as opposed to bandaids.

AW no..adding nos WILL make more power....in any set-up..btw turbos love no2
But you may gain just as much power by fixing your issues.

I can't see any problems running a 75 to 100 shot on current setup. Nitrous effects are generally increased on FI applications so a 75 shot might act more like a 125 shot.
I am going to be running 75 to 100 shot likely on my car. I have seen it done on many cars mostly dsms with great results.

I did upgrade the cross over pipe and down pipe with one of the newer kits. The exhaust is a 3 inch down pipe with about 3 feet of piping a then a strait muffler into turn downs before the axle. I think the biggest issue is the intercooler piping and intercooler its self. But i am trying to stay away from any expensive upgrades to the turbo system itself. Even if i upgraded the intercooler and piping i would hit more walls every time i would try to upgrade power and so i am just saving up to swap out the kit with some thing that is a little more upgrade friendly and will leave me room to grow in the future. But in the mean time i want to get some good numbers out of the stock bottom end and thats some thing i dont fill like i am any where close to right now.

what power are you at right now? i run a kit like that tti system on a stock ahort block and cam..and im around 500rwhp. my curve flattens out on top also but it can be hard to get a turbo car with out the right drive train to get accurate #'s. back pressure on this style shouldn't be to bad till 600+

If backpressure is your problem, N2O wil not cure your problem. It would only create more pressure. I would check your valve springs and see if they are seating the valves. If worn, you'de loose power even if N/A, especially on top end. Does the power fall off if you reduce boost? Are your injectors maxed out on the DC? Can you put a guage on the intake side of the piping to measure the pressure to see if that is the cause? Just curious.

Right now the car is making around 460WHP and 570 torque give or take a few. If i increase the boost the torque will go up but i dont see any increase in horse power coming. My goal has been to brake the 500 mark but i was trying to find away to get there that didnt involve any major changes so i could complete some other areas of the car. Before the summer.

Im running the same kit. I had a 67mm on there before and it made 500whp with an auto unlocked on a mustang dyno through a 9 inch. I tried to up the boost to about 14psi and it would just stop making power past like 5800rpm.
That being said i think you should upgrade to a t76 or tc78. That little turbo is you main restrictor. Believe it or not that little IC should be good for 600hp.

Im not sure about slapping any thing bigger on it. I dont know about spending 1600-1800 bucks on a single turbo just so i can gain 40 horses and hit another wall. Thats kind of the reason i am not upgrading the kit and just planing on swapping out to a different set up. Where you running the 67mm on the TTI kit?
