the project has been down some. No play money has came in yet, well kinda. Got my manual master mounted and line lock mounted as well. Gonna hopefully run my brake lines this weekend. Got rid of the turbo kit and got a Procharger d1sc on its way. Motor should be going in soon though.

I'm slightly confused as to the purpose of switching at this point in time after you already had the kit completely set up....?

Main thing is the kit was supposed to be a custom build and it wasnt. There was a lot of things i didnt like that i wont get specific on. Second is i wanted to do a procharger in the first place. I know the turbo can make more power in the long run but ill never use it to its FULL potentional. I just like how much more simple the procharger is especially with being self contained oil. I traded the kit for a complete procharger kit and hes actually throwing in the balancer so ill actually be ahead of the game. It will allow me to get this **** done faster. So hope that answers your question.

Nothing wrong with a D1SC in a light car, I ran 9.17 @ 149 at 3300lbs with a 347, '222/228 XE cam, untouched Dart 225 heads and a D1SC not even close to max impeller speed. Car still had had power steering and brakes as well..

I'm pretty sure you will be happy with the blower, lot less complicated and lot easier to hook on a small tire.

thanks for havin my back KP. And the point of it being less complicated was a huge plus for me. Iv changed my car completly so i have a **** ton to learn. Last thing i want is to blow my motor and take out my turbo with it.

It all should be here by mid next week. Gonna mock it up again before i get the motor in so ill get some updated pics then.

I think you will have some fun with it, most guys put a D1SC on a 4000lb car with the wrong converter and stock suspension and then get disappointed. But with a car with a decent suspension and fairly light weight its hard to beat for simplicity thats for sure.
