Cant say i didnt see it coming.. didnt like how the drivers side pipe wasnt extended past the v-band to align it up with the manifold so i cut it apart, slid the pipe in further to make the v-bands align perfect and since i was there i re-routed the pipe. Wasnt too fond of how it was a 90* feeding a 90* so i cocked the 90* bend out of the manifold and used a 45* instead. Much smoother flow and freed up a bit more space on that side for the cold side pipe. NOW back on track and need to get the WG mounted.

BEFORE.....

AFTER.....

Got the hotside all squared away tonight. Started with a 2-1/2 pipe cut at a 45* angle, layed down on the merge, traced out and cut out. There was a gap about 1/2" between the pipe and the bottom "valley" of the merge where its welded together so i welded on a little "tail" and bent it down to fill the gap then allowing me to make the opening a little bigger and why it has a tear drop shape. After i got all that welded up i "ported" the inside to make it all smooth and flow nicely.

Then finished up the rest of the piping for it, welded it all up and now completly finifhed with hot side!

After talking to a few people they recomended that I mount the WG more upright so any conditation would not sit on the valve and pit it n wreck it. So I remounted it higher on a angle and made the dump pipe for it.

Next is bracing for the gate and turbo...

Ok well went out there and whipped up my WG brace. Took a piece of hollow stainless tube and welded a bolt on bottom and out side on top so now it's basically a strut. Welded a tab on the WG pipe and then to frame then you bolt in the strut, solid as hell now. Slit the tab on WG pipe for some adjustability, some paint and done...

FINALLY got the complete Hotside finished. Welded on a mounting flange to the t6 flange and bolted to the car. Between that mount and WG mount the kit is very solid. Threw on the DP flange to get a idea of where to go from there. Looks like all I need is a 45* bend and shoot out side of bumper. Ordered the Treadstone intercooler today and will get cold side buttoned up as soon as I mount the IC. It's the tr12 that's 4.5" wide...

Well got my intercooler today. It's a Treadstone TR-12 that's 4.5" wide. Only thing I can say is there a TON better then the eBay one I sold. Not saying the eBay ones are bad since people have good luck with them but these are much better quality! The ends are pretty much true 3" ID vs like 2.70" on the cast eBay end tanks also and the last pic is a diffuser to guide the air to the top of IC for better cooling so your using the entire core. If you can spend a extra $150 more then the eBay one I HIGHLY suggest it!
