Nope, I think i would still choose to go force induction. I think the term boost is addictive come to mind. Its to the point where I'll never go N/A again.

If I didn't drive it quite as much as I do, I'd go with a good stockish displacement motor and a small dry shot with a NXL system 2nd stage. But for a lot of driving it's nice to have it when you want it.

I'm fixing my D-1 mistake right now.A high compression 422 solid roller with a 300-350 TNT direct port system should do the trick.I gutted the car, added the lightweight brakes, K-member and a Simpson parachute.Should be a very fun track only car.

The only mistake I made, was not putting a bigger turbo on there. LOL

Next project when I ever do it, will be an LS1 with a thumper turbo.

A Vortech G-trim ontop of a 346ci is no match for a high compression 382 stroker with a 200 shot.
There's just no comparison.
I went with a blower because I thought it would be 'safer'. Well, my engine went on the first pass down the track, so that proved to be false.
I also thought that having more power all the time would be better than having to hit the nitrous button. But now I realize that on the street, a 460RWHP stroker motor with some good rear-gears is very tough to beat, no matter what you have in your car. Then add ontop of that the fact that you have a 200HP nitrous gain at the ready, well, you get the point.

I'm just going to make the best of what I have now, and call it a day.
I'll try the stroker motor and nitrous in the next life.
