Default Cam question

I have front mount t70 intercooled with stock cam with ls6 springs. Wondering how much more hp could be expected with a z06 cam?
Truck heads & manifold set up.

parish went from low 500s at 18 psi to right at 600rwhp with only 14 psi.... on a stock 5.3

Switching from a stock LS1 to a ZO6 will produce more horsepower and less boost as the ZO6 is less restrictive and will allow more boost into the cylinders. How much mroe horsepower it will make over the stock LS1 depends on my current mods.

Go big or go home haha j/k Seriously though, the LS6 cam is nice for what it is and its what i used for my semi-budget setup. Its also all i had at the moment and i didnt want to go through the hassle of going with a big cam and having to buy expensive *** valve springs, new pushrods etc etc etc. I dont think LS6 would be worth all the effort even though it will give you a decent power increase. It will also move your rpm range/power band up alittle bit as the Z06 cam likes more rpm's. Lemme know what you decide and ill help you out max, there are a few companies out there that have nice turbo cams...

it has a LS6 intake, #317 6.0 heads, stock cam etc, basically stock everything else plus of course the front mount turbo kit at 8psi. Power is in the 500rwhp range with this combo.
