Default Unusual Setup

I am in the process, with the help of a few people, of developing a roots style supercharger, proly go with magnacharger, with a twin T40 series turbo setup to get the high rpm that the supercharger doesnt get. I know this sounds wierd but on paper it can be done, but at what cost. there is the key, if this works I wanna get the kit to as many people as want it, any information would be greatly appreciated and I will keep you posted on what comes of the project.
thanks

IMO, a properly built turbo V-8 has no need for a supercharger.

ya what intmd8 said. This reminds me of the MR2 that was in Turbo magazine (i think). The MR2 made more power with just the turbo than with the turbo and supercharger. Sounds like a neat project. Good luck

Unless you're strictly after show appeal there's probably not much of a need, or demand for that.

ditto, for the extra cost, do a built stroker, over a roots blower + turbo setup. '

but if you can get just a roots blower to fit in a f-body, you would have a kit a few people (including myself) would be interested in.

um ya you have to match the turbo and superchager perfectly, other wise one will underpower the other.
if your using a dual power adder pick one FI and use N20 ofr the other, even thats tricky.

turbo witha strocker does nicely id imagine.

note to all, doing a little research, i found out why roots style superchargers are never found for an f-body, the idea sounds nice but the problem is that the roots style will not fit under the cowl of the windshield due to the fact that half of our engine is under the dash. o well back to the drawing board thanks for all the help though

Forged motor with a big turbo would be enough

Roots intake can be a restriction also.
