Question STS Rear Mount or..

I been reading for a while about turbos and I want to add one here is my current setup
PRC LS6 Stage 2.5 heads
CompCam XE-R 224/228 (.581/.588) on 114 LSA
FAST 92mm Intake
FAST 92mm Throttle Body
PRC dual valve springs (.650 lift)
Comp Pushrods
Jesel Rockers
Comp belt tensioner pulley
LS6 ported oil pump
160' Thermostat
Z06 Mass Airflow
MTI lid
K&N air filter
Taylor Spark Plug wires
New TR55 plugs
Exhaust:
Mac Mid-Length headers
3" y-pipe, no cats

I would like to get the rear mount turbo kit, but not so sure.. can anybody give me some suggestions? thanks

Should work, the 92mm could move your powerband up in the RPM range. The headers won't help much either. You may get by with just wrapping them though.

The STS kit is a complete bolt on. I'm not sure why people think that it requires any fabrication. Let the salseman know that you have 3" exhaust and they will build the exhaust to compensate.

if you run an intercooler you'll need to fabricate the piping for an STS i believe

sts kits have some flaws but if you go into the build expecting it and are ready to do it a little different up front you can acheive what you want. do an sts search on here and you will find some threads on fixes you will need. intercooler, pcv catch can, wiring harness, scavenger pump, fuel pump, t bolt clamps better off getting stock exhaust manifolds and coating them. ect. do your research and you will be fine also look at prices for front mount kits sts sucks in the rain on f bodies no dry place for air filter.

STS now offers a complete intercooler kit that is also a bolt on option.

I'm not knocking anyone for having it, I just think there is better stuff out there than the STS that can be done cheaper. My reasons are the same as the ones already mentioned, but if you're willing to deal with it, best of luck to you!
