Good lord look at the torque curve!
There was some talk in MTI's thread that dropping the compression ratio with this type of setup may not be a good idea because the blower can't deliver enough boost to over come the drop in compression to make it worth it. That's the way I understand it. If someone else has any input please do.

Yes. MTI makes an overdrive pulley to up the boost by a couple psi.
My question is are you going to make more power with a higher compression ratio and less boost or lower compression ratio and more boost?
I am new to this whole FI thing and am learning stuff everyday. By no means do I try to say things I know nothing about.

on pump gas you will always make more power with lower CR and higher boost then higher CR and less boost. it all depends on the fuel you use, there are some boosted engines that have 12.1:1 CR and higher with big boost numbers, but they run their car on meth. if you want to build a very powerful FI street car i would personally go with 8.5:1 CR. good luck

Nice setup man!
I have the kit from LM ready to go on too. Your numbers seem a little low though. Is there really that much difference on a "mustang" dyno?
Now go clean that engine!
I would be interested in seeing your videos too!

Are you installing your setup yourself? If you have any questions about the install, just asked. After all the research that I had done on this forum, there were still some surprises that I was not expecting when installing this setup.

Where exactly does the air/water cooler mount? I am guessing in front of the A/C condenser?
Is there a way to mouth a puller/pusher fan to it to help keep the temp's down?

Yes, it mounts in front of the condenser. You might be able to get a small fan in there to fit, but it would be very tight. Not only that, but would be blocking most of the space for the air to move across the coolers.

With stock heads, I like my numbers. My tuner told me I would see 10-15% higher numbers on a dynojet (530hp). One of these days I would like to prove that.

Well, for one thing was the whole throttle body cable setup, I tried installing the cables like the way it was intended from LM Speed(using the bracket they supply), but the top part of the throttle body was hitting my hood, preventing it to close completely and at wide open throttle, the bracket on the throttle body was hitting the supercharger pulley.
Also, when I went to put the supercharger unit onto the engine, I ended up bumping the oil pressure switch and breaking it. Had to buy a new one. So I had to shave some material off of back of the unit for it to clear the oil pressure switch.
The coolant crossover pipe too, was also preventing the supercharger from sitting correctly on top of the engine. Had to gently pry and bend that pipe to clear the charger.
It's just a very tight fit and just took some patience to get it done!!
As far as relocating stuff, their wasn't anything major that I remember that I had to relocate.

I'm not bashing your numbers man, I'm just not familiar with differences between the two dynos. 530 sounds about right and I'm hoping for similar numbers.
I will be doing some of the other upgrades myself like fuel system and valvetrain, but RMCR in Colorado Springs will be installing my kit, gauges, and doing the tuning. I would like to do it myself also, but I can't tune or weld, and don't feel comfortable doing the body lift.

love the tq curve, those are numbers that i like seeing especially with a cam that size. do you have Long tubes? i didnt see it listed? but very nice numbers. i'd love to have this kit but no $$, hopefully soon. I am set on a Positive displacement blower for my ls1 thats for sure, either it be a maggie, tvs or if someone makes a twinscrew kit.

was going h/c/i on my car but now i can't get the maggie out of my head, besides everyone has h/c/i cars, i never see maggies on f-body cars, so it's different and makes great street power.
