Just Completed 2000 TA Maggie Install!! Dyno numbers!!
Let me tell you, I can't believe how much time it took to install this thing! Took me 2 FULL weekends to get done! I bought this kit used off another member here, this kit is the one from Late Model Speed.
Check out the throttle cable bracket, I liked how MTI does there setup, flipping the throttle body upside down, so I just fabricated my own bracket(still have to paint it). Looks clean, right?
I had it tuned at Masport yesterday, let me tell you, the car is unbelievable!! I've never had a car have so much power! And the whine of the charger, priceless.
Let me know what you think of the numbers?!
Only mods to the car are:
Hooker Headers
Magnaflow exhaust
TR224 cam
Dyno numbers!
Pictures of setup!!

is this on a stock shortblock ? if it is try to save some money for a forged shortblock just in case this one goes. you should be fine for a while if you have a good tune. also some lq9 heads would help you out allot. your CR would be lowered to somewhere around 9.5:1 depending on the gaskets you use. good luck

Nice car man! I saw it as I dropped my turbo formula off..Dan was moving it as I got there. Cool to see it on here and too bad I didn't see ya as I was there. made good power and nice to see another boosted fbody around here Nice work man!

What were the numbers prior to the Maggie?
I'm torn if I go FI, the roots based scare the hell out of me being in such a hot climate, I can get a Procharger for about the same price and pick up a water/meth kit for protection in the hotter months.

Good lord look at the torque curve!
I am torn between a maggy or a single turbo. I love the sound of the maggy.
There was some talk in MTI's thread that dropping the compression ratio with this type of setup may not be a good idea because the blower can't deliver enough boost to over come the drop in compression to make it worth it. That's the way I understand it. If someone else has any input please do.
The only thing I am worried about with this setup is heat soak or high IAT's.
I would give up several horsepower to have the sound.
Get a video so we can hear it!

I'm curious as to why you think LQ9 heads would help out so much.

Yes!
The only other time I had my car on a dyno was before the LS6 Manifold and TR224 cam, and the numbers on a DynoJet were 356 hp and 360 tq. at the wheels!
Unfortunately, I wasnt able to be there when the car was on the dyno. But I will be shipped a video of it a little bit later.
And get this, after just a couple of days of driving the car, I just found out that I need to key the crank! I just found that the crankshaft pulley was half off tonight. How hard is that to do?
