Still waiting for the exhaust. Here's the damage so far.

The carnage started for the mini-tubs and test fitting the tires.

If you're wondering, "Why the ls6 intake and 1 3/4 headers?" It's because I already have them and I don't want to spend anymore on new ones.

Bill I forsee the headers possibly being a restriction. Good looking build though.

I ordered the wheels Friday (I-forged Challenge) Big thanks to Nineball for answering my many emails!
LG finally came out with a 1 7/8" header (Super Pros) so I took everyone's advice and ordered them today. Now it can breathe!

Thanks man. Shop and everyone else that's done em says they're not bad. It's just plastic, afterall. Lots of measuring and a steady hand.

The longblock was finished yesterday and we're waiting on a sheetmetal intake that's being fab'd to fit under the stock hood.

I finally decided on and ordered a set of valvecovers and coil relocation kit from Katech and should have them in a couple of weeks.

I called LG and got word that the headers will be shipped in a week and my catback should be there like right meow...

ARH next time around. I did order a set of ARH's for the truck while I was on the phone with them...persuasive s.o.b.

No, 4l60. Will be upgrading to a stage bazillion 4l65 and a new convertor before the blower goes on. I'm seeing them live in 3800+lb cars so I think a well built one will handle my car.

Got the stuff from Katech, thanks. The lady I spoke with on the phone was very nice!

No headers.

The longblock and rest of the drivetrain is back in the car. The measurements were done and the intake is being worked on right meow.

The wheels were delivered yesterday. Thanks Tony!

^that is what I was most interested in vs. your smaller 232/240 cam.

When you say a stronger valvespring, I assume you mean a step above the average .650/.660 capable dual springs?
That is the cam I'm running. I have the Pat Gold springs on it now, but I'm upgrading to the Pat Gold Extremes. It made 775rwhp at 6k w/14 psi, and at 7k w/16 psi the hp ws down to 650. We tried just about everything & decided it must be the springs (not enough seat preassure).

But I have a similar setup, 408, F1-C, Vic Jr, St III 317s, pump gas + meth, built 4L60 with a Yank PE 3400 stall, should end up making 800rw & run 9.5 @ 140 shifting at 6500....I hope anyway. Oh, and I have a 3750lb full interior TA.
