I agree. I spent some time in their booth this year at PRI. Very friendly folks...just a little inconsistent on their tech. Dave Austin is the only guy I've talked to at Turbonetics that has consistent tech answers...I've called their "tech line" twice in one day and received completely different answers to the same question.

Since we're still asking qustions....

Why is the GTK1000 rated at 1000hp and the "standard" T76 rated at 1100 hp on the Forced Inductions website? Does the drilled comp housing drop off that much flow at the limit?

They're supposed to put them on all of the GTK's now. My GTK1000 came with one last year.
T'netics said that Bullet nut is good for anothr 1-3% airflow over the standard loctited nut.

Tnetics also told me that a Ported Comp cover can cost 5-10% airflow on the top end of flow so that would be around 50-100hp worth of air

Re-flow covers hurt some top end flow, but broaden the map. That is where the rating difference comes from.
